Nathan G. Gold (born June 12, 1980) is a former minor league first baseman and back-up third baseman for the Texas Rangers organization.

Early childhood

Gold was born on June 12, 1980 in Bountiful, Utah. He attended Viewmont High School located in Bountiful.

College

Gold attended both Gonzaga and Treasure Valley Community College. He only played baseball at Gonzaga, for two years. While there he posted a .298 batting avg, hit 43 homers and drove in 124 RBIs.

Professional and minor league career

Gold was drafted in the 10th round of the 2002 MLB Draft, picked 292nd overall. Gold played for the La New Bears in 2009[1] before retiring on August 18, 2009.
