Narayana-puram is a small village located in Bonakal Mandal, Khammam district, It has a population of 1494 according to 2001 census [1]

Occupation

The major profession of the people is agriculture. Water resource for the irrigation is NSP canal but these days water is not flowing regularly.

  • Lord Bheemalingeswra swamy temple : It is located in north side of the village and in between the two villages named narayanapuram and Chinnabeeravalli.
  • Sri Seeta Rama mandiram located in middle of the village.
  • Muthylamma ammavaru located in front of the Bheemalingeswara swamy temple.

Even though it is a small village, it has a good library.

Many people fought against the Nizam government for the Independence of Telegana and were sentenced to jails for many days.
