Nanguneri taluk

Nanguneri taluk is a taluk of Tirunelveli district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters is the town of Nanguneri.

Population

According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Nanguneri had a population of 204,381 with 97,985 males and 106,396 females. There were 1086 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 81.66. The total number of households was 49,645.
