Nalini Netto is a senior Indian Administrative Service IAS officer and the Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala. She has been serving in the office of CEO for the last 7 years. Her husband Desmond Netto is a Senior IPS Officer.
She is more known after she made the allegation of sexual harassment by the former Kerala Transport Minister Neelalohitadasan Nadar, in 1999. She alleged that at the time when she was serving as the Transport Secretary, the minister summoned her to his cabin and tried to outrage her modesty.[1][2] Nadar had to resign the post of the Minister and was found guilty in the case.[3] He was later acquitted by a Fast Track Court.[4]
Career
She started her career as Sub Collector at Kannur district.
