Nalini (Tamil: நளினி)(also Kanavu kanni Nalini and Kavarchi kanni Nalini) was a South Indian actress who worked in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She acted in a Tamil and Malayalam films opposite the stars including Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Mohan_(actor), Mammootty, and Mohanlal. Nalini, originally from South India, moved to the south to act in films. She did act in a few malyalam movies and currently doing character roles under her real name.^{[citation needed]}

Personal life

Nalini married actress Ramarajan and 13 years later they divorced. They have 2 kids. After divorce, she is actively starring in a line of Tamil TV serials.

She had also acted in Kolangal, Idhayam - very serials broadcast in Sun TV in the role of a mother-in-law.
