Naga Rajput is a gotra of Rajputs in Rajastan, India. The town of Nagaur is believed to have got its name from the Naga Rajputs, who were the warrior rulers of Rajputana.[1] They are also believed to have founded the principality of Jodhpur.[2] The Naga Rajputs of Nagaur lost their power in due course of time and Prithviraj Chauhan conquered their former territory in 12th century AD.[3]
