It is a new HD-2 radio station that launched on November 18.[1] The station will broadcast on 89.3 in the HD-2 format. The station can also be heard on 92.5 KWUP HD-2 in Bryan College Station, 99.7 FM in Brenham and 93.3 FM in Bryan College Station.[2][3]. They will play genres including Christian rock and Christian rap. Such artists will be played as Toby Mac and Skillet.

Programming
NGEN will play such artists as Third Day, Skillet, Newsboys, and Toby Mac. The entire principle of NGEN is Christian rock and hip hop.
Staff
- Carlos Aguiar heads the project. He runs most operations.[4]
- Kent Matthews is a DJ for NGEN. He also runs the original KSBJ Light Force, which is similar to the style of music that NGEN plays.
