- Myrika
-
Myrika or Myrica was a city in Galatia Salutaris (Asia Minor), known for its hot springs. By about the 7th century, it was renamed Agios Agapetos (St. Beloved).
The baths of Agios Agapetos are probably the 19th-century Hamam near a town called Kadi Köy.[1]
Ecclesiastical history
Myrica (Italian Mirica) remains a titular see of the Roman Catholic Church.[2]
