My Lawyer's In Love is the 8th episode of the eighth season of the ABC Studios television series Scrubs, and 158th episode overall. It was broadcast on February 3, 2009. It's one of the three episodes where Dr. Christopher Turk doesn't have an appearance.

Dr. Cox is overwhelmed with heavy loads of important tasks to complete while he takes on his new role as the Chief of Medicine. Jordan tells him to ease up and give some things up.

Ted forms a crush on a hospital ukulele player named Stephanie Gooch, played by Kate Micucci. Ted tries to talk to her, but is unable to summon up the courage, so the Janitor and J.D. form a truce to get Ted and Stephanie together. After Ted's band and Stephanie jam together "all night", Stephanie tells Ted how much she likes him, and Ted finally is able to tell her that he really likes her, too. They leave for their first date, a cup of coffee.

Dr. Cox is annoyed at Ed, an intern. At the conclusion of the episode, Dr. Cox tests Ed's knowledge of the human heart, and finds that Ed has been slacking off. Annoyed, Dr. Cox abruptly fires Ed and walks away to conclude the episode.[1]
