Museu Imperial (Imperial Museum) is a Brazilian museum located in the former summer residence of the Brazilian Imperial Family in the city of Petropolis, on the hills near Rio de Janeiro.
The museum includes the palace itself, built in the mid 19th century for Emperor Pedro II of Brazil and his wife, and a temporary exhibition hall dedicated to contemporary art. It is one of the most visited museums in the country.
