Murugan Idli Shop

Murugan Idly Shop (Tamil: முருகன் இட்லி கடை) is a popular chain of restaurants based in the city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India. It specializes in Idli. The chain has five restaurants in Chennai and two in Singapore. It is founded by Thiru.Shanmugasundaram & Tmt.Nagayathamal as "Murugan Coffee Nilayam". Now it is managed by his son by S.Manoharan

Growth

"Murugan Coffee Nilayam" grown into Tifens shop in Morning & Night on Road side as "Murugan Idly Kadai". In 21st year upgraded to Hotel operates full day. After famous of the shop Idly former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Perunthalaivar Kamarajar also tasted it.

S.Manoharan CMD, Murugan Foods Pvt Ltd went to London to learn Food & Careering technology. On his return nore braches are opened. Then Murugan Foods ventured into catering. It extended to railway catering contract. It also opened shops in chennai, Singapore, Gulf, Europe
