MuleSoft, formerly MuleSource, is a provider of software, support, and services for open source service oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructure software. It was founded by Ross Mason,[1] the creator of the Mule project, MuleSoft Tcat Server, as well as support, and services for Apache Tomcat. MuleSoft provides open source software and its core business is selling subscriptions for its open source infrastructure software, licenses and subscriptions for MuleSoft Tcat Server, consulting, and training.

History
Founded in 2006 and backed by investors Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Morgenthaler Ventures, MuleSoft is headquartered in San Francisco with offices worldwide.
In September 2009 MuleSource officially changed its name to MuleSoft.
