Muhammad Usman Soomro

Muhammad Usman Soomro. Ustad Muhammad Usman Soomro (Sindhi: محمد عتمان سومرو) was son of Hadi Dino Soomro, born in Ranipur town District Khairpur Mirs Sindh in 1907. He remained as teacher and Head Master of Government High School Ranipur, Murad High SchoolGambat and Naz High School Khairpur. He died in 1946 at Gambat, where he was hostel superintendent of boarding house of Murad High School Gambat. His body was brought by his students and teachers of various Schools of Khairpur District, for funeral ceremony and was buried at Ranipur. He also remained hostel superintendent of Naz High School, Khairpur. He was first graduate of Ranipur town. A famous teacher of Language i.e. English, Arabic and Persian, social worker and educationists. He founded a small School named Dar-ul-Fauoz madarsa(دارالفيوض ) which means ever shining, which is still functioning in Ranipur city. From his famous students Syed Ghous Ali Shah remained Chief Justise High courtSindh and Chief Minister of Sindh , Professor Noor Muhammad Seyal remaind Vice Chancellor Sindh Agriculture UniversityTando Jam, Mian Qamar u ddin Farooqi become Superintendent of Jail and Ghulam Muhiuddin shah , Pir Syed Abdul Ghaffar Shah , Gul Shah Gilani prominent figure of the city. He left two wives, two daughters and three sons. One of his wife Mrs. Ghulam Zainab Soomro well known as GG Aman'(Sindhi: جي جي امان ); first female teacher of Ranipur town. (Remained Head Mistress of Govt.Girls Primary School Ranipur from 1949 till her death 1978).
