Mud Island '97 Live album by Widespread Panic Released December 3, 1997 Recorded July 18 & 19, 1997 Genre Rock, southern rock, jam Label Widespread Records Mud Island '97 are two complete concerts by Athens, Georgia's Widespread Panic. These two shows are the first releases from Widespread Panic's Porch Songs project. These performances were recorded live at Mud Island Amphitheater in Memphis, Tennessee on July 18 & 19, 1997. The two-track soundboard recording features all original band members including late guitarist Michael Houser.[1]
