Mubariz Mansimov (Azerbaijani: Mübariz Mənsimov, born March 22, 1968) is an Azerbaijani entrepreneur and the founder of Palmali Group of Companies, a major shipping company, as well of the Azerbaijani football club Khazar Lankaran.[1] He is currently listed on Forbes list of billionaires , the youngest billionaire in Turkey as of March 1, 2009.[2][3] Also he has a milk company named PALSUD.

Early life

Mansimov was born in Baku, Azerbaijan in 1968, to a working-class family. He graduated from the Naval Academy in Baku.[1]

Mansimov's Palmali Group of Companies comprises television channel "Palhaber" and radio "PAL FM". He has also owns the nationally successful football club Khazar Lankaran, which has made an important contribution to the local region.[1][4]
