Vorticia is a fictional character by DC Comics. She appeared briefly in All Star Comics in 1949 as the housekeeper Mrs Spirella to the Justice Society of America's headquarters, a brownstone in her home town of Civic City. She had the power of creating spiral vortices around herself which she used to clean up when the other superheroes were away. A humorous point was that the members of the JSA were unaware of the fact that their housekeeper also possessed superpowers. She apparently did not follow the JSA when they moved from Civic City to Gotham City.
