Mrs. Renfro's Salsas

Mrs Renfro's is the brand name for the line of award-winning salsas, sauces and relishes made by Renfro Foods in Fort Worth, Texas. The Mrs. Renfro’s brand is sold in leading supermarket chains, gift shops and specialty food stores in all 50 states, the Caribbean, Canada and the U.K.

Renfro Foods was founded in 1940 and began producing salsa products in 1972, after acquiring Olé Foods. In 1995, the company introduced its line of gourmet salsas with Black Bean and Habanero. Other flavors followed - Chipotle Corn, Peach, Roasted (1997), Garlic (2001), Raspberry Chipotle (2003), Mango Habanero (2006), Pineapple, Pomegranate, Tequila (2009) and Ghost Pepper (2010). In its short time in the marketplace, Ghost Pepper has become the company’s fastest growing new product in the company’s 71-year history.

Mrs. Renfro’s Pineapple Salsa and Ghost Pepper Salsa are 2009 and 2010 recipients, respectively, of the prestigious Scovie Award, the world’s leading recognition for hot and spicy products. Also in 2010, Mrs. Renfro’s Habanero Salsa was selected among the “125 Best Packaged Foods for Women" by Women’s Health magazine.
