The Mount Vernon Police Department, commonly referred to as MVPD, is a professional police organization responsible for primary jurisdictional law enforcement for the city of Mount Vernon, New York. Mount Vernon is located in Westchester County, which is located immediately north of the New York City limits, north of Bronx County. The Mount Vernon Police Headquarters are located in Mount Vernon Civic Center, with an address of 2 Roosevelt Square North, Mount Vernon, NY 10550 (914) 665-2500. The department is a New York State Accredited Agency.
