Mount Kelly Elevation 1,829 m (6,001 ft) Location Location Australian Capital Territory/New South Wales, Australia Range Scabby Range Coordinates 35°43′S 148°53′E / 35.717°S 148.883°ECoordinates: 35°43′S 148°53′E / 35.717°S 148.883°E Mount Kelly (1,829 m) is the tallest peak in the Scabby Range and is situated on the border of the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales. The ACT portion is located within Namadgi National Park and the NSW side within the Scabby Nature Reserve. The Scabby Range includes Mount Scabby (1,798 m) which is the source of the Cotter River. The area surrounding Mount Kelly is a wilderness area which was severely affected by bushfires in 2003 and is slowly regenerating.
