It has panoramic views of St Michael's Mount and bay. Chymorvah House is located next to the hotel which is near the coast.[1] The restaurant to the hotel has been awarded an AA Rosette. Haunting
The hotel was reported to have previously been one of the most haunted hotels in Cornwall but the current owner upon buying the hotel, after many bad experiences which had affected her family and guests, hired a psychic named Janet to systematically "free the spirits" of the place, both benevolent and malevolent.[2] The current owner claims to have immediately noticed the difference in atmosphere in the hotel after the exorcism and declares that the hotel is now completely "ghost free".[2]
