Mount Betty

Mount Betty (85°11′S 163°45′W / 85.183°S 163.75°W / -85.183; -163.75) is a small ridge overlooking Ross Ice Shelf, located on the north side of Bigend Saddle in the northeast extremity of the Herbert Range, Queen Maud Mountains. Discovered in November 1911 by Captain Roald Amundsen, and named by him for Betty Andersson, nurse and housekeeper in the Amundsen family for many years.
