Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass

Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass is a New York City-based law firm founded in 1933 best known for its defense of insurance companies and reinsurers in litigation around the country. It also represents a number of corporate, institutional and individual clients in a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. Mound Cotton employs 100 attorneys operating out of offices in Manhattan's Financial District, Garden City, NY, Newark, Ft. Lauderdale and San Francisco.

Notable mandates

  • Represented AMEC Construction Management, Inc. in a $400 million lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York alleging negligent design and construction leading to the collapse of Seven World Trade Center. The lawsuit was brought by ConEd. Mound Cotton represented AMEC and obtained dismissal.[1]
