Mounam Kalaikirathu is a 1986 Tamil-language Indian feature film directed by Kundrai Vaendan Karikalan, starring Suresh, Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Anand Babu, Jayasree, Vijayakumar, Chinni Jayanth and S. S. Chandran. The film is a Triangular Love Story.

Plot synopsis

Mounam Kalaikirathu is a triangular love story, where Anand Babu and Jeevitha Rajasekhar are lovers, but Suresh too loves Jeevitha Rajasekhar without knowing the relationship of Anand Babu and Jeevitha Rajasekhar. Jayasree, plays a doctor and she loves Suresh as well. The film explores these relationships and finally break the ice of Silence (Mounam).

Malai Malar dated December 22, 1986 reviewed Mounam Kalaikirathu as a watchable movie for the Youth. Dina Sari newspaper dated December 5, 1986 mentioned the film as a passable entertainer.

Reception

Mounam Kalaikirathu was among 1986 December releases and become a Moderate success and completed 75 days of run at the Box-Office.

The Music for the film has been provided by Sankar Ganesh. The films's music added the value of the movie.
