Morrison Rocks

Morrison Rocks (76°51′S 117°39′W / 76.85°S 117.65°W / -76.85; -117.65) is a group of rocks which outcrop along the southern slope of Mount Frakes, in the Crary Mountains, Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from ground surveys and U.S. Navy aerial photographs, 1959-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Paul W. Morrison, U.S. Navy, hospital corpsman at the South Pole Station in 1974.
