Coaching career
Martin was the was the 11 head football coach for the Dickinson State Blue Hawks located in Dickinson, North Dakota and he held that position for three seasons, from 1968 until 1970. His coaching record at Dickinson State was 10 wins, 11 losses, and 3 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #6 at Dickinson State in total wins and #10 at the school in winning percentage (.479).[1]
