Facilities and aircraft
Monticello Airport covers an area of 75 acres (30 ha) at an elevation of 6,998 feet (2,133 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 16/34 with an asphalt surface measuring 4,817 by 75 feet (1,468 x 23 m).[1]
For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2007, the airport had 2,572 aircraft operations, an average of 214 per month: 98% general aviation and 2% air taxi. At that time there were 11 aircraft based at this airport: 90.9% single-engine and 9.1% multi-engine.[1]
