Mont H. McIntire, also spelled McIntyre, was the 17th head college football coach of the West Virginia University Mountaineers located in Morgantown, West Virginia. He held that position for four seasons, from 1916 until 1920. [1] His coaching record at West Virginia was 24 wins, 11 losses, and 4 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him ninth at West Virginia in total wins and eighth at West Virginia in winning percentage (.667).[2]
