In the 1930s, the organization began phasing out rail equipment, and since 1938, the city has operated buses. Twelve standard routes are operated, plus one downtown shuttle using replica trolleys; the agency provides service at 45 minute intervals. In 2005, night service was also instituted and hours for regular routes were extended.
