Molybdopterin synthase

Molybdopterin synthase is an enzyme required to sythesize molybdenum cofactor (MoCo) from precursor Z (now known as cyclic pyranopterin monophosphate).

It is heterodimeric and coded for by the MOCS2 gene.[1]
