Molnar Rocks

Molnar Rocks (66°11′S 66°58′W / 66.183°S 66.967°W / -66.183; -66.967) is an insular rocks lying 4 nautical miles (7 km) west of the middle of Lavoisier Island, Biscoe Islands. Mapped from air photos taken by Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (FIDASE) (1956–57). Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for George W. Molnar, American physiologist who has specialized in the reactions of the body to cold environments.
