Biscoe Islands

Biscoe Islands is a chain of islands, of which the principal ones are Renaud, Rabot, Lavoisier (named "Serrano" by Chile and "Mitre" by Argentina) and Watkins, lying parallel to the W coast of Graham Land and extending 80 milesvague|which miles? in a NE-SW direction. Named for John Biscoe, leader of a British expedition which explored the islands on February 17 and February 18, 1832.
