Molly and Me is a 1945 American comedy film directed by Lewis Seiler and released by 20th Century Fox. The screenplay was based on the novel written by Frances Marion and adapted by Roger Burford. It starred Monty Woolley, Gracie Fields, Reginald Gardiner and Roddy McDowall.

Plot

An out of work actress (Gracie Fields) decides to act as an experienced housekeeper in order to get a job, only to discover that the butler (Reginald Gardiner) is doing exactly the same thing.

Their employer Mr Graham (Monty Woolley), a divorced and retired politician who's estranged from his son (Roddy McDowall) needs his life shaken up, something that Molly is more than capable of doing for him.
