Career
EastEnders
Main article: Dotty CottonConlin auditioned for the part of Tiffany Dean[2] but was offered the role of Dotty Cotton instead.[3] Speaking of her casting, Conlin said, "I'm really excited about it because I have always wanted to be in EastEnders. All the other actors and actresses were really friendly and kind to me."[2] Executive producer Diederick Santer praised Conlin saying "I love that little girl because she's having to play all these layers. Normally, what kids have to do of that age is say lines and be cute. She, though, has to play layers of deception. She has to play a character who's acting."[4] She first appeared on 26 December 2008[5] and left on 23 February 2010.[6]
Other work
Conlin has appeared in three adverts, for Ragu pasta sauce, Heinz baked beans and Bold 2-in-1.[2] She has also appeared in the BBC comedys Little Miss Jocelyn, The Omid Djalili Show and Thank God You're Here.[1] In 2011, she appeared in the children's series Annabel's Kitchen, on CITV.[citation needed]
