Mohammad Akhtar (born 12 December 1977) is a Pakistani born English cricketer. Akhtar is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He was born at Gujranwala, Punjab.

Akhtar represented the Essex Cricket Board in a single List A match against Essex in the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy.[1] In his only List A match, he made a half century score of 71 runs.[2] With the ball he took 2 wickets at a bowling average of 23.00, with figures of 2/46.[3]

He currently plays club cricket for Waltham Cricket Club.
