Mississauga Model flying club

The MMFC, or Mississauga Model Flying Club [1] is a remote controlled airplane and helicopter flying club located in Mississauga, Ontario. It started in 1968, and is operational to this day. The field is located at highway 401 and Mississauga road, in Totoredaca Park. It shares the land with a dog park.

Glow fuel is used in most of the models. There are also battery powered and jet aircraft. They operate on any of the Radio frequency displayed on the Canadian frequency chart [2] mainly 72 mHz and 2.4 GHz spread spectrum. The club mainly flies Radio-controlled aircraft, including helicopters and airplanes. Recently, there has been a track added for radio controlled cars. MMFC now has a brand new website. MMFC is part of the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada [3], and offers the wings program for teaching people how to fly.
