Mintz Peak

Mintz Peak (76°53′S 126°3′W / 76.883°S 126.05°W / -76.883; -126.05) is a small peak rising above the southeast corner of Mount Hartigan in the Executive Committee Range, Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy trimetrogon photography, 1958-60. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Jerome Mintz, Meteorological Electronics Technician at Byrd Station, 1959.
