"Mind Blowin'" was the lead single from Smooth's self-titled third album, Smooth. The song became a hit for Smooth, making it to four different Billboard charts, find the most success on the Rap charts where it peaked at #7.
Though it was well received, the song was also met with some controversy due to the rauncy lyrics and video, clips of the video even appearing on The Maury Povich Show where he decried teenagers growing up too fast.
