Mills Peak (South Georgia)

Mills Peak is a peak 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) southwest of Cape Douglas, rising to 625 m in the north portion of Barff Peninsula, South Georgia. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1988 for Lieutenant Keith P. Mills, RM, commanding the Royal Marines platoon at King Edward Point at the outset of hostilities between the United Kingdom and Argentina, April 3, 1982.
