Mike Freese

Mike Freese is an American retiree, activist and Vietnam veteran who lives in St. Petersburg, Florida.[1][2]

Mr. Freese supported one-time Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney during the Republican Party primary for the presidential race 2008,[3] and was a founder of a group called Rednecks for Romney.[3][4][5] He is often spotted at political rallies and protests around the United States. He was seen at a Florida election recount of 2000 protest,[6] Romney's final rally in Florida in January 2008, [5][7] then United States Senator from Illinois Barack Obama's rally in Dunedin, Florida in September 2008[8] and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's rally in Henderson, Nevada in October 2008,[9][10][11] often wearing a baseball cap with the Confederate Flag with words "Git-R-Done."[11][12][13]
