Mike Burns (born May 14, 1962) is a former head men's basketball coach at Eastern Washington University. On May 30, 2007, Burns was relieved of his duties as head coach after three seasons.[1] Eastern Washington subsequently reported itself to the NCAA on possible violations. [2]

For 2007-2008, Burns was head coach at Community Colleges of Spokane, leading the team to a 30-2 record and year-long #1 ranking in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges league.[3]

In March 2008, Burns left for an assistant position at the University San Diego.[4]
