Migrant labourers in Kerala are some 10–30 lakh semi-skilled or non-skilled migrant labourers from other States of India, mostly from Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Paschim Banga(West Bengal), Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Assam and other north-eastern parts of India in search of employment and better wages.[1][2]
