Midob people

Midob is an ethnic group in the Meidob Hills in Sudan. They speak Midob, a Nilo-Saharan language. The population of this ethnic group possibly exceeds 50,000.

Midob as an ethnic group, their roots go back to Merwatic Kingdom in Northern Sudan.Many historians like Brown(The history Of Sudanese Tribes)mentioned that Midob is the ruling family in the Nubian Civilization and their roots extends the pharoes in Egypt.
