Middlesex Savings Bank is a Massachusetts bank that started in 1835. It grew through a series of mergers and acquisitions. It took the name "Middlesex Savings Bank" in 1982 with the merger with Natick Five Cents Savings and Middlesex Institution for Savings. The bank moved the headquarters to Natick, Massachusetts to the former Natick Five Cents building.[1]
History
The Middlesex Institution for Savings was founded on March 4, 1835 in Concord, Massachusetts. Natick Five Cents Savings Bank was founded in 1859. Medway Savings Bank was founded in 1871.[1]
