The Mid-Norway European Office is the permanent representation of the Trøndelag region in Europe. It is localized in Brussels, Belgium. The goals of the office are to functuate as a partner who provides competence for the region's trade and community within questions concerning the EU and the EEA. Another task is to assist the region of Trøndelag in seeing possibilities and get more out of the Norwegian EEA membership, and its relation to the European Union.
Historywise, the office was established in 2001 as a pilot project. Within 2005 the office was rearranged to a permanent representation, and was from January 2006 registered as "Foreningen Trøndelags Europakontor". The Mid-Norway European office has 11 members as of today.
