Heath, 1965Micropterix trifasciella is a species of moth belonging to the family Micropterigidae. It was described by heath in 1965.[1] It is known from the French and Italian Alps, and is known to inhabit herbacious plants at an elevation range of 1400-1900 metres. Male Micropterix trifasciella have a wingspan of 3.4-4.7 millimetres, while females have a wingspan of 4.2-4.8 millimetres.[2]
