Jarzembowski, 1980Micropterix anglica is an extinct species of moth belonging to the family Micropterigidae. It was described by Jarzembowski in 1980.[1]
Fossil remains, dated to the Oligocene, have been found on the Isle of Wight. The single known specimen consists of the greater part of a forewing, original length estimated at about 4 mm. The veins are mostly dark brown with intervening membrane light brown.[2]
