† Appearances (Goals).Mick Sandom (born 1949) was an Irish soccer player who played for in the League of Ireland during the 1960s and 1970s.
Mick was an accomplished youth player who won 3 schoolboy and 5 youth caps for Republic of Ireland and he began his senior career with Bohemians after joining from his schoolboy club Stella Maris.[1] He broke into the Bohs first team during the 1967/68 season, making his debut in a President's Cup match against Drogheda. He won the first of many Irish Amateur caps in March 1968 against Great Britain, a month before picking up a President's Cup winners medal when beating Drumcondra 3-2 at Tolka Park.
Sandom made a total of 71 appearances in all competitions for Bohs (scoring 5 goals) before moving to Oriel Park and Dundalk during the 1969/70 season under the management of the legendary Liam Tuohy.
