Medal record Competitor for United States Women’s freestyle skiing World Championships Silver 2003 Deer Valley Moguls Michelle Roark (born 16 November 1974) is an American freestyle skier who has competed since 1995, mainly in moguls. She won a silver medal in the moguls event at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships 2003 in Deer Valley, Utah.
Roark finished 18th in the women's moguls event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. She has six World Cup victories since 1999. Roark was named to the US team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in January 2010.
Personal life
A native of Denver, Colorado, Roark has three degrees from the Colorado School of Mines – chemical engineering, petroleum refining, and environmental science. Now living in Artesia, New Mexico, she owns a perfume and cologne manufacturing company called Phinominal which are all-natural.
