Michael Slutsker (other spelling Michael Sloutsker, רקצולס לאכימ, Михаил Слуцкер) is a prominent European painter.
He was born on 9 April 1946 in Leningrad (St.Petersburg).
In 1970 he graduated from the Academy of Art and Graphics in Leningrad (St. Peterburg). Until the mid 90s he lived and worked in the former Soviet Union, mostly Leningrad and Chernigov.
In 1990s after successful European tourney he settled in Prague (Czech Republic), where he lives, works and operates MS-Art Gallery. Mr. Slutzker is a member of the Society of Artists of Israel.
He is passionate traveler and active participant in many international art exhibitions in Europe ("Europe Art" in Geneva, Switzerland and "Libr Art" in Libramont-Chevigny, Belgium).
Currently more than 300 of his art works represented in private collections and galleries throughout the world.
Art works of Michel Slutsker carried out mostly in classical oil techniques, and recapitulate essences of the 20th century European romantic art. He is well known for his landscapes and city images, as well as portrait series "Jewish Art".[1]References
