Michael McCallister

Michael B. McCallister is the chairman of the board, president, and chief executive officer of Humana, a health insurance company.^[1] He earned his bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1974.^[2] He joined Humana in 1974 as a finance specialist.^[3] He earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1983.^[2] With a total compensation of $14.13 million in 2010, McCallister ranks 66th on Forbes executive pay list.^[2] McCallister serves on the board of directors of the Business Roundtable, America’s Health Insurance Plans, World Wellness Alliance, National City Corporation, Greater Louisville Fund for the Arts, and Greater Louisville Inc.^[4] He also serves on the College of Administration and Business Advisory Board for Louisiana Tech University.^[3]
